I have also been involved in the 'Create to Learn' programme, teaching art and developing an art project for primary school children. The work was exhibited at the OXO Tower in June 2007. I went on to be a voluntary creative mentor for this programme, in conjunction with Timebank. In February 2008, I had my first solo exhibition in conjunction with 'Kirk Originals.' The Exhibition featured illustrations from the series 'Obscure Tragic Operettas retold through Costume Illustration.' As an illustrator I am strongly influenced by my enduring love of the theatre, the narratives within my illustrations are often derived from or inspired by operas, ballets and plays. My work continues to be focused on a love of drawing and testing the boundaries and limitations of costume in the world of illustration. However, when it comes down to it, I just love to draw and I love to get consumed with detail!

I continue in my pursuit to illustrate the most spectacular costume imaginable...
